The celebration awaits.

I AM THE DRAMA?

The industry is changing. Storytelling is changing. Technology is changing. AACA is changing. And you are ready.

I AM THE DRAMA is our creative spine for your year – built because the most talked-about disruption in our industry right now is AI, vertical video, TikTok / Reels / YouTube Shorts, and micro-drama.

We designed this ceremony to showcase that disruption – and to showcase you as the disruption.

You are not entering the industry. You ARE the Disruption!

The 8 statements behind the stage backdrop you will walk onto:

I am the storyteller.
I am the character.
I am the creator.
I am the director of my future.
I am the disruption.
I am the new generation of cinema.
I am ready for the shift.
I am the drama.

Who Will Be There?

Graduates, families, AACA alumni, celebrities, industry leaders and representatives from key stakeholders including DHET, CHE, SAQA, MICT SETA, CATHSETA and QCTO, alongside media, partners and members of South Africa’s creative community.
